I thought vodka was calorie-free? Maybe I'm mistaken. And hey, two pieces of toast with cheese isn't so bad. I bet it didn't do as much damage as you think. :)

Vodka is 2 points per jigger...what the buggars is a jigger? Anyway that's what the weightwatchers etools tells me.

OK curiosity got the best of me and I looked up a jigger...1.5 oz. I'm assuming that's a shot. It's 2 points or 97 calories if that helps.

If it makes you feel better, alcohol is seriously still my biggest vice when it comes to losing weight. See I LOVE wine. LOVE IT. When I drink a glass, I want another. When I drink another, I get hungry and my inhibitions are impaired enough to make some really bad food choices. Anyway I feel your pain. :)

So what are you going to do about it??
Perhaps an extra walk today, or at least be extra good?!
Its not the end of the world, and I totally understand the munchies - just get straight back onto your plan!!!

Two pieces of toast with cheese is not too bad for alcohol induced munchies - I normally eat everything in sight!

Today is a new day - start fresh:)

When plans go awry...

What do you do when nothing has gone as you had planned? Adjust your plans and get going again.

What can be done when problems and interruptions have drained away most of the time in your day? Step back and smile, knowing that you're wiser and more determined than ever to move forward.

For you've just experienced how precious your time can be, and realized how quickly it can slip by. Allow that realization to sharpen your focus, and then aim that focus on where you intend to go.

What's done is done. You are where you are.

The worst thing you can do is to fret about the time that's been wasted, for that will only add to the loss. The best thing you can do is to get up and get going again, with a fresh determination to make real progress.

Move beyond the time you've lost, and make use of the time you have. You'll soon be so far ahead that your little setback will quickly be forgotten.

Just dust yourself off Laura and jump back on the path... one foot in front of the other :)

Laura:
I think you need to give yourself a break - what matters more than the oops is how you deal with it after. You need to forgive yourself immediately, count what you ate, write it down, and then get right back on that wagon. You can do this!

i too think you weren't as bad as what you're daying - or maybe you were badder but didnt want to divulge the truth... lol i used to do that on blogger!

My favourite way to beat a night out (i used to hVE A LOT OF THEM )AND THEN GET so so mad at myself for stuffing up it'd rock me for days. You just have to forget about it and put 100% into your food and exercise the next day... focusing on whats already done is a waste of time.
